I am a textile artist living in Stanley in Victoria’s North East. I have been involved with textiles all of my life, with the making of toys, clothing and knitting amongst my early experiences. This interest led to a 25 year career in the Clothing industry as a clothing designer, freelance patternmaker and production consultant.

Quilt making has woven it’s way through my life for over 40 years with my first quilt being made at the age of 13. Since then I have created over 400 quilts in a range of sizes from tiny to enormous, from intricate hand pieced traditional quilts to modern contemporary pieces. I have received numerous awards for my quilts during this time.

In the last 3 years, the focus has been on starting a new business as a custom machine quilter, with a side step into the world of textile art quilts, mixed media sculptural pieces and framed pieces for inclusion in local art exhibitions.

In early 2022 I established myself in a studio space at the May Day Hills Art Society, (Beechworth, VIC), where this work continues.
